Kansas State just got BUTLERED
BUTLERED: v. to get pretty much slapped in the face by the Butler Basketball Team...a.k.a Kansas State. Today was a great day for the Bulldogs and their fans, they knocked the #2 seed out of the tournament and are going to be in the Final Four for the first time in school history. This was the perfect time to shine for Shelvin Mack and Gordon Hayward. Mack had 16 points with 7 rebound while Hayward had 22 points with 9 rebounds. Kansas State's top two scorers, Pullen and Clemente, had a combined 32 points while their last game against Xavier they together put 53 points up on the board. All I CAN SAY IS PULLEN IT IS TIME TO SHAVE THE BEARD! Another mind blower was West Virginia upsetting the Wildcats of Kentucky. West Virginia was in control of the game the whole time with their 10-23 three-pointers to Kentucky's 4-32 three-pointers. Neither team shot well in the paint West Virginia was 38.5% and Kentucky was 34.3%, their worst this whole year. But the Mountaineers pulled it off and are heading to the Final Four for the first time since 1959. Well, with only six teams left the National Championship is still up for grabs.
